My client and her husband just moved into their retirement home nestled in the forest outside of Portland, Oregon. The mountain home has a beautiful view out the back of the home, but the guest room on the side of the house looks out onto the side of the neighbor’s house. The room had honeycomb shades on the window that were usually left down for privacy and UV protection from the afternoon sun leaving the room dark and dreary.
We replaced the honeycomb shades with Silhouette® Window Shadings with the new cordless LiteRise™ system which allows the vanes to be manually opened and closed without cords. We chose the 3” vane size to let the light filter in and see outside without their neighbors seeing in. The fabric Table Linen had just the right amount of texture to go with their casual, mountain home interior.
