Project Background
Today we’re excited to share before and after photos from a really fun project we did with Jess Bunge, a talented designer AND Emily Henderson’s Editorial Director. During the pandemic, Jess moved into a new apartment with LOTS of great old-world character. The most striking feature is a large, curved turret she uses as a home office. And when we say curved, we mean curved walls AND windows. Here’s a before photo of the office nook.
Window Treatments for Curved Windows
Because there are no off-the-shelf products that can accommodate specialty-shaped windows, Jess knew a custom solution was her only option and reached out for us for help. Our nationwide network of designers are window covering experts, so Jess’s local LA-based designer was able to help her find the perfect window treatments for not only her unique office space, but also her kitchen area too.
Custom Drapery for A Work-From-Home Office
Although the office area already had window treatments, Jess felt the white sheers were just too bland for the space and wanted a wow moment at the windows. With the help of her designer, she chose a beautiful soft pink fabric. A special curved matte black rod was designed and custom-made to fit the exact curve of her walls and windows. The end result is stunning!
