Project Background:
Today we’re excited to share a project we did with media empire, Betches. That’s right folks, Decorview does commercial projects too, so if you have an office space or otherwise that could benefit from custom window treatments – we’re your resource!
Just before the pandemic, Betches decided to level-up their office space. They knew window coverings were a must for privacy and aesthetic, so interior designer, Molly Torres, reached out to Decorview to see if we wanted to design custom shades and drapery for the space. With so many of our team avid consumers of Betches fun content, we jumped at the chance to be part of this project.
Roller Shades To Obscure the View:
It’s no secret that NYC buildings are situated very close together. Whether you’re at home or in the office, privacy is a must. For the Betches offices, New York City-based Decorview designer, Kayne Wilk, suggested installing classic roller shades from Kirsch Window Coverings. When fully drawn, the semi-opaque fabric does a great job of minimizing the view to the building next door, offering privacy while at the same time letting in a little bit of light. The common spaces feature black roller shades and the offices feature white roller shades.
Custom Drapery To Soften Conference Rooms:
The Betches headquarters is open and modern, so to soften all the glass and give the conference rooms more privacy, Decorview designer, Kayne, suggested floor to ceiling white drapery. The panels are double-sided to ensure a luxe look from inside and outside of the conference room.
The most fun part of the new office environment was the addition of private phone booths. These little rooms are big on style, so a statement black drapery was the perfect finishing touch for the rooms.
