Sliding glass doors are a common and functional element in many homes. Until recently most sliding glass doors have been dressed in vinyl vertical blinds. Basic beige vinyl blinds are best left for apartment complexes and dorm rooms!
What are the best-dressed sliding doors wearing? If your home style is contemporary or traditional try shutters on a sliding glass door. It has such a clean look and the by-pass system functions great. I love plantation shutters on sliding doors for a light and airy look.
