It’s always a special treat when a client appreciates your designs enough to ring you a second time during their home decorating journey. I recently got the chance to work again with one of my favorite clients, who loves getting the most fashionable window treatments without having to deal with power tools.
Previously we had installed Hunter Douglas Silhouette Shades in their family room, dining room, and kitchen. They were the perfect solution for all three well-loved rooms, and the Chateau fabric in the rich Dijon color blended beautifully with the granite, and variant wood tones in my client’s home.

In the master bedroom, the windows are very narrow, and vertically rectangular. They chose a beautiful color called Wild Ginger, which coordinates with their existing drapery.
Downstairs we decided to use the same Duette Architella shades in the Patina Grey color, to tie in with the furniture and artwork on display in the family room. The windows were equipped with the standard bottom-up drawing mechanism, as they were only concerned with lighting and energy efficiency for those treatments.
I was once again delighted to work with this very grateful repeat client, and am excited to see her home come together so beautifully in both design and functionality.
