What are the benefits of cordless blind and shades?
While ease of operation may be the biggest selling point for a cordless lift system, but no operating cords also means a clean, uncluttered look at the window. Dangling strings can not only detract from the beauty of a shade, but they can also pose a major risk to small children and pets, making cordless lift systems the safest choice for homes with furry friends and little ones.
How do cordless window treatments work?
With cordless window treatments, all the strings and mechanisms that raise and lower your blinds or shades are designed to live inside the window treatment. Innovative interior holds allow the window covering to stay securely in any position—eliminating the need to constantly adjust window treatments and ensuring continuously smooth operation.
One caveat with cordless blinds is the tilt wand. While cordless window shadings can be tilted by simply adjusting the bottom rail, cordless blinds will still feature a thin dangling tilt wand.
What are the best cordless window treatment styles?
All Hunter Douglas blinds, cellular shades, roller shades, screen shades, woven shades, Roman shades, and window shadings can be made cordless for easy operation. SoftTouch™ Motorization
SoftTouch is a battery-powered lift system with wand-controlled operation. It’s the perfect solution for homeowners that want the ease of motorization, but are overwhelmed by the thought of fully automated functionality. To operate, gently pull down on the wand to lower your shades and push up to raise them. An added feature is the ability to set a favorite shade position within the window.
