Barb is a  Kirsch® and WCAA certified designer. She serves the outer Cleveland area, including Lakewood and North Olmested.

In the family

Barb comes from a decorating family. From a very young age, she was enlisted as an extra pair of hands: painting, installation, sewing and reupholstering were among her jobs. Once she finished college, local builders started calling on her to put the finishing touches on their interior designs. This started her long career as interior designer of model and renovated homes.

An array of services

These days, Barb focuses on all aspects of residential design, from blueprints to accessorizing. She’s worked with architects, homebuilders and homebuyers and built up a wide range of knowledge of what goes into making a dream home. For Barb, turning her knowledge to helping her clients achieve a home that reflects their loves and personalities is the passion that drives her work.

Barb’s clients would likely describe her specialty as “comfortable elegance.” “I always aim for design that welcomes you in. The greatest compliment I can receive is that guests feel welcome and comfortable in a home I have designed.” For Barb, the measure of success is client satisfaction: “I believe a good designer listens to the clients’ needs and wants, incorporates elements of great design and implements the right solutions to achieve the perfect look.”
