After receiving a degree in Interior Designer, Jan began her career working for an interior design firm in Rochester where she provided customers with custom drapery, blinds, furniture and space planning services.

Loves solving design problems

When asked what she enjoys most about being a designer, Jan responded, “I enjoy helping clients sort out their design “problems.” I like to educate clients so that they fully understand the products that they are purchasing and how they will function in their homes. I especially love designing drapery and soft window fashions for homeowners.”

Drapery is her favorite design element because it can personalize a home in a way unlike other window fashion products, giving the client the “WOW” factor that has been missing in their space.

In her spare time, Jan likes to cycle. On a nice day she can be found riding on the bike trails near her home.
