A multi-talented multi-tasker

Richmond’s Kathryn B. has spent 30 years in interior design, specializing in custom window treatment. She also provides redesign, space planning and color consultation. Kathryn enjoys meeting and working with her clients. The challenge of problem-solving in a way that achieves both function and beauty makes every day new and exciting. She especially enjoys finding the right fit for both halves of a couple: “I welcome the challenge of marrying the design styles of two people who share the same space. It’s possible to find a happy middle ground and a unique design style that both can love for years to come.”

Kathryn defines her personal style as “a warm transitional style that incorporates a ‘pop’ of color and mixes various styles. However, I work carefully with my clients to achieve a design and style that meets their expectations and dreams. I love finding new ways to repurpose antiques, unusual finds, sentimental pieces or accessories. I know that good design doesn’t have to be expensive, but I also know there are times when it’s worth spending a bit more for quality.”
