Laura is a window treatment certified designer with nearly 30 years of experience in interior design. Laura has been helping clients choose the perfect window treatments in the Memphis area.

Design from Start to finish

Memphis’ Laura C. has been in the color and interior design business for almost 30 years. She has designed many beautiful spaces over that time and thrilled many customers by creating breathtaking décor collaborating with them. After studying art in college she started her own business organizing art shows and brokering fine art to interior designers. When she visited client homes, she started to see the need for custom window treatments to finish the spaces she visited. Increasingly drawn to textiles and textile design, she began to incorporate custom window coverings into her offerings.

Not afraid of color

Laura is a problem solver at heart, and designing window coverings that are both stylish and practical. “It is most satisfying for me to get a call from my clients telling me how thrilled they are with their new window treatments.” Laura describes her personal style outlook as “a color girl: I’m not afraid of color and I know how to use it! If my clients are looking for a wow factor, we can make that happen.”

Lots of questions; all the time needed

Laura will always take time with her clients, and does her research before the first meeting with a new client, “I ask a lot of questions in my initial phone call to a client. I want to come up with options that will thrill them right away. Then we build on the images that they love most.”
