Laurel is a certified window treatments designer with more than 40 years of design experience. She helps clients in Los Angeles choose the perfect blinds, shades, shutters and drapery for their homes.

Window Coverings Expert

Laurel has been in the interior design industry for more than 40 years. She took a Career Planning & Placement course at her college (UCSD) that pointed her in the direction of the design industry. It wasn’t easy to get started given how competitive the industry was at that time, but she eventually found a position working for an interior designer in Santa Monica. Laurel started designing custom window treatments back in the 1980s and specializes in blinds, shades, shutters, custom drapery and automation.

Working with her Client’s Style

Laurel mostly enjoys helping people feel good about coming home. Whether she is helping them by installing child-safe blinds or energy efficient window coverings, she makes sure the client is happy with the end result. She works hard to make sure that whatever work is done, it follows the client’s style choice. She is there to guide, support and help wherever she can.
