Tye is a certified window coverings designer with 30 years of design industry experience. She helps homeowners in Reno, Lake Tahoe and surrounding communities choose the perfect blinds, shades, shutters or drapery for their homes.

Tye began her design career in real estate and remodeling, before transitioning to custom window treatment design. When asked what she enjoys most about being a designer, she said “I love meeting new people and assisting them with their design projects. Window treatments serve both a decorative and functional purpose and I enjoy guiding my clients to the perfect solution for their windows, home and budget.”

My favorite window treatment is woven woods shades.  I love the natural elements that woven woods bring into the home.  Adding automation makes the window treatments state of the art.

She learned to sew at a very young age and brings her love of textiles, colors and patterns to the design process with her clients.
