Yvonne is a Kirsch® certified window fashion designer helping clients in Spokane and surrounding Pacific Northwest communities select the best window treatments for their homes.  She is also certified by Window Covering Association of America, has Professional Status in the Interior Design Society (IDS) and is a Certified Interior Designer (CID).

From Hobbyist to HGTV Designer Challenge Winner!

Yvonne started her interior design career by helping her friends and neighbors to style their homes. They were always asking for her help and Yvonne loved doing the work. She decided to make a move into the field and started working as a window covering designer for a local design firm where she learned a lot about the business. From there, Yvonne moved into professional wallpaper installation which she did for 10 years. However, Yvonne loved window treatment design and decided to open her own business called ‘Beauty by Design Interiors’. The business specialized in window coverings and Yvonne ran it for 18 years. She then decided to focus on being Kirsch® custom window fashion designer. In 2006, Yvonne was the winning designer on HGTV’s Designers’ Challenge!

A Tailored Approach

Yvonne’s personal design style is eclectic to traditional. However, she loves all design styles and especially loves helping clients to achieve a beautiful space in which to live & thrive that is all theirs. Yvonne believes wholeheartedly in Decorview’s Designed with You approach. She feels it’s her job to empower and support clients in making the best design choices for themselves,  so they can really take ownership of the process and feel like the space is designed just for them. Yvonne also specializes in pet and child friendly design to make sure all members of the family can live happily together.
